About Me

Mohammad Hamid Ansari (born 1 April 1937) is an Indian Public Figure/ Diplomat who served as the Vice President of India from 2007 to 2017. He was also the ex- officio Chairman of Rajya Sabha, the Upper House of the Parliament of India. He is only the second Indian to be elected for two terms as the Vice President of India, the first being Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan in 1952 and 1957.
